Project Scope
The project scope included general planning & project management; website design; website and domain migration; WordPress CMS implementation; email contact list migration; hosting/email setup; hourly maintenance contract.

CARIE was founded in 1977 primarily as an advocacy organization for the frail elderly. Its initial program, the CARIE LINE, quickly became recognized throughout the region as a resource for a wide range of people and institutions seeking to resolve elder care issues.

Motivated by the closure of their previous web company, CARIE was in search of a new service provider to host their website and email, re-design and maintain the website, and advise on future projects. Integration with an appropriate content management tool was considered necessary in order to maintain internal control over “day to day” operation of the website.

Importing email contact list
Setting up an online donation form that is secure and compliant

More recently, Dinkum was engaged to update the website and add some integrations as well as create an online store.
